boodlesofpopcorn.com is under the umbrella of our parent company Boodles of Baskets.  Wherever boodlesofpopcorn.com is stated, it means Boodles of Baskets. Boodles of Baskets has been a leader in the gift industry since it was established in 1995.  Our customers come to us from around the world and trust us for all of their gift giving needs.  It is our pleasure to serve you.

Privacy Policy
Personal Information
The information you provide to boodlesofpopcorn.com is stored, offline, and secured by our head office Boodles of Baskets.  Under no circumstances do we sell, rent or otherwise disclose ANY personal information provided to us, by you, EVER.

Your Credit Card
All credit card transactions are processed offline.  Your information is gathered through Mal's E-Commerce, a leading shopping cart server, and is gathered using the strictest 128-bit encryption methods.  Once your information is received through their secure server, we delete it off their servers.  Your receipt will have the name of our head office Boodles of Baskets on it.

Order Processing
In order to provide you with the freshest product possible, processing times are as follows:

Orders placed by 1pm EST Monday-Friday are processed and shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 1pm, on the weekend or a holiday, will be processed and shipped the day after the next business day. 

eg.  You place your order by 1pm EST Monday, a business day, your order is processed and shipped Tuesday.  Your order is placed after 1pm EST Monday, a business day, your order is processed and shipped Wednesday.
 

Taxes
Taxes are calculated based on where the popcorn is being delivered, not based on where the sender lives.  If the correct province/state is not chosen during the order process and/or incorrect taxes are applied we will make the necessary corrections on your behalf and charge your credit card accordingly.
 
Shipping Fees and  Policies
Shipping Fees-Popcorn
Each tin is shipped in its own shipping box and therefore shipping fees apply to each item, regardless of whether it is being shipped to the same address or not. 


Delivery
Our shipping is done via CANPAR. Deliveries are made between 9 and 6 EST Monday to Friday.  CANPAR does not allow time specific deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments (eg. by 1pm). CANPAR does not phone to arrange deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments.  Delivery times (eg. 1 day) are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless SELECT shipping is chosen.  SELECT service does not apply between December 17 and January 1.  Shipment times reflect business days.  Shipping to remote locations in Canada, may require more time and an increase in shipping costs.  We will not be held responsible for delays due to weather or other acts of God.
Popcorn is available for shipping throughout Canada and the USA excluding Nunavut, NWT and the Yukon.

Hospital/Retirement/Colleges/and the like- boodlesofpopcorn.com will not be held responsible for popcorn that has been delivered to shipping and receiving, but not forwarded to the patient/student/recipient by the accepting facility.

Non Delivery/Re-Delivery
If a recipient is not home when the popcorn is delivered, and it is a house or business, a note will be left on the door instructing the recipient to either call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the tin of popcorn for a re-delivery attempt the following business day.  Due to their nature, no such notice will be left at apartments or office buildings. After two attempts, the popcorn will be returned to us. 

Incorrect Address
Due to popcorn's perishable nature it is imperative that we are provided with a correct address.  If an address change request is made while the package is on route, an additional shipping fee of $5.00 will apply. It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with a complete and correct address. Please check your addresses carefully!  (Including a daytime phone number where the recipient can be reached is highly recommended.)  boodlesofpopcorn.com/Boodles of Baskets will not be held responsible for returns due to an incorrect address.  No refund will be given.

NSR  (No Signature Required)
We will, if requested by you, leave the popcorn tin (enclosed in a shipping box) on the porch or by the back door with a "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" sticker.  However, we assume no responsibility for the package against theft, weather, or any other occurrence, once the package has been left in the requested location.

Delivery Tracking- As long as you provide us with a valid email address, you will receive a tracking number for your cake.  Please go to www.canpar.com and enter this number to track your order. boodlesofpopcorn.com can track your order for you for a $5 tracking fee per item. 

Return Policy
Due to the perishable nature of popcorn, please ensure that someone will be available to receive your popcorn delivery on the delivery date.  We cannot be responsible for popcorn that is damaged or spoiled due to any delivery issues.

All damaged shipments must be reported within 5 business days.  We will make every effort to replace damaged items within this time, however we cannot be responsible for damage not reported within this time frame.  Please keep all damaged merchandise and packaging as it may be requested by the carrier.

Any goods returned to boodlesofpopcorn.com/Boodles of Baskets without prior authorization will not be refunded.  The shipping costs of unauthorized returns will not be refunded. 

All orders cancelled after the credit card has been processed are subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to change, amend, update or cancel this policy at anytime without notice.
